Than'sgivin' and Black Friday!

Hooray for Than'sgivin'! And, I suppose for Black Friday.

We've had a terrific weekend. Katie and Gary and Mia arrived Wednesday afternoon, and spent the night. I spent the night hanging out with Gary, and playing Super Mario World. What a great game. Gary knows practically every secret to the whole gosh darned thing. It's incredible. Unreal. Remarkable. Decisive. Umm... inhuman?

So then it was THAN'SGIVIN', and Gary and I were playing MORE Sup Mar Wor. (We beat it that day.) And the peeps downstairs made a cheesebowl, which we ate some of, and they also made eggnogg, which we drank a great deal of, and they were also making stuffing and turkey and potatoes and fruit salad. And then we ate all that for dinner (minus the cheesebowl and the eggnogg, which we'd already finished off), and it was really good. Then we ate pumpkin pie that they had made. And then we went back to bed.

The next day it was BLACK FRIDAY, and Andy went out and bought some stuff, and Mom and Dad went out really early too, but they were already back home by the time I woke up. So Gary and I played Super Punchout!! for a bit. It's a hard game to get the timing right. A little disorienting. Anyhow, then Katie and Gary left.

Now it's TODAY, the third day of my five-day weekend. I slept in 'till like 9 (something almost unheard of for me), and it felt really good. Now I'm Blogging, and I'll probably go eat breakfast after I post.

I started reading the third book in the Bartimaeus trilogy on BLACK FRIDAY, and finished it on the same day. In fact, at about midnight last night. It was really good, but the end is kinda sad. I don't know why they did it the way they did it, but they did, and it's the end of the trilogy, and so I can't tell you what happened, but they don't tell you anyway, and it's just kinda bothersome. I mean... c'mon, couldn't it have been a happy ending? Why does everyone do this to characters who have just turned good again? ERRRRG!

That's all for now.

WHA-CHOW!

Annanotherone!

So. I found out something superbly awesome. Paul is definately coming for Christmas. And he's bringing Guitar Hero 3. Totally excellent.

At the moment I'm watching... "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World,". It's hilarious. I love it. All sorts of things are going wrong. All the driving and the flying and all the insanity. It's just great. They're driving like fools. And all sorts of good stuff like that.

Swordfighting was fun today. We did exercises with sort of charging attacks. Jumping and stuff. Michael's jumps were humorous. My jumps ended up looking like galloping at one point. It was all an AWESOME time.

Ahm. I can't think of much else. Lots of fun.

The Campfest

Whew.

I am officially tired.

See, we just got back from a pseudo-camping trip. The reason I call it a pseudo camping trip is because we were staying in a cabin. It was still harsh, though. It was cold. I had liquid egg spilled on my sleeve. I had to share a room with John.

That cabin we were staying in was insane. We looked at the foundations, and some of the bits of the cabin were being held up by logs. It was to a degree terrifying.

The game of football we played was excellent. I actually only got the ball once, but I didn't fumble, and I got a fairly impressive run in, that even from a short pass. Apparently if I'd gone a different direction I could've gotten further, but I didn't, so whatever. We did, however, have Bro. Drinkwater, Andy, and Dannle on our team, so we had a good team. I'll admit, the opposition did have a lot of the fast guys, like Michael Greer and John Osborn, but we still managed to almost win. The only reason they tied with us was because I let my eye off of Josh Cook for one single play. I paid for that mistake.

So anyway, we made it home alive. Not much to report since then.

Um.

'Bye.
